Fintoc is a solution that allows you to receive payments and perform recurring charges from any bank in Chile, with the advantage of automatically reconciling payments. Below, we show you the step-by-step process to integrate it as a payment method in VTEX.

Before enabling Fintoc as a payment method in VTEX, and to ensure a proper implementation, you must accept and activate the solution’s terms and conditions. Without this, it will not be possible to process payments via Fintoc.

To accept the terms and conditions and enable Fintoc as a payment method, follow the steps below:

1. Access Mercado Pago.
2. In the side menu, select Your business.
3. Select Settings > Payment preferences.

4. Click on "Terms and conditions", read the information carefully.

5. If you agree, enable the option Receive payments via bank transfer.

After accepting the terms and conditions, you will be able to enable Fintoc as a payment method in your store.

To activate Fintoc in VTEX store checkout, access the administration panel and follow these steps:

1. In the side menu, select Store settings > Payments > Settings.

2. In the Payment conditions tab, click the button with the + symbol in the upper right corner of the screen to add a new payment method.

3. Search for the Fintoc Mercado Pago option and select it.

4. Complete the necessary fields:

   • Condition Name: choose a name that allows you to identify this payment method and click the checkmark located to the right to save it.
   • Status: activate the payment method using the sliding button.
   • Process with provider: select MercadoPagoV2.

5. Optionally, you can add special requirements by clicking the Add special condition button.

   • Expiration date: Allows limiting the payment method activity only to specific periods or establishing a recurrence.
   • Trade policy (Sales policy): Makes a payment condition available only for one or several specific trade policies.
   • Commercial condition: Creates rules that apply to specific groups of SKUs and determines criteria for a payment method to appear in the store checkout.
   • Account name: This field should only be completed if you have more than one store registered in the same VTEX account. In those cases, you must select which store you want to configure the payment method for.

6. Click Save to activate the configuration.

Upon completing this configuration, you will be redirected to the Payment Conditions screen, where you will see Fintoc Mercado Pago activated.
