We know that one of the most common scenarios for those using Mercado Pago solutions is developers performing integrations on behalf of third parties. This directly impacts topics such as credential access and application management. With the goal of simplifying this experience, we’re introducing an existing feature in the panel called Collaborators.

What is this feature and how can it help you?
It enables management of access and business tasks by inviting people to work using their own profiles, allowing them to access only the sections assigned to them. This role-based access saves time and effort, as store owners no longer need to contact developers for every store update. It also increases efficiency by allowing developers more autonomy to directly manage operations and configure all aspects of the business, for example, create an application.

This feature was developed for online store owners and developers who either have a single application or none at all, and who don’t use shared credentials.

Important: permissions can be adjusted at any time. However, it’s important to note that the collaborator’s account remains linked to the account of the person who sent the invitation, meaning they cannot operate completely independently.
